PKMC at UK-LMIC Autism Research Network

What a prelude to Autism Awareness Month, April 2024... Our Director, Ms. Ruma Chaturvedi, presented the parents’ perspective in UK-LMIC Research Network for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ULMiRN-ASD) II on March 29, 2024 at IIT Kanpur. The other speakers were Professor Braj Bhushan from IIT Kanpur, Professor Girijesh Prasad from Ulster University, Dr. Alok Bajpai, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Dr. Ryan Beveridge from Ulster University. In it, autism was discussed from researchers, clinicians, and parents’ perspectives and how further research can help in early diagnosis and better support services for people with Autism.
