World Autism Awareness Day
We wholeheartedly thank the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Kanpur Chapter, President Dr. Vivek Saxena ji, Secretary Dr. Arun Arya ji, Treasurer Dr. Devendra Awasthi ji, and the only Pediatric Neurologist of Kanpur Dr. Kshitij Bansal ji for interacting with the parents at our center and giving them valuable information and insight about Autism Spectrum Disorder..
We also thank our parents for turning up in such large numbers and making this event such a huge success..
The best part of the event was definitely the creativity of our kids and the bright smile on their faces when they received their medals and certificates from the doctors.
Thus we celebrated this day as a reminder to celebrate human diversity and understand Autism as a neurobiological condition that affects 1 out of every 59 children……
